Wranglers & Ribbons: Women in the West
They women of the west were bold and daring striking out on adventures alongside their men or alone. The Wranglers & and Ribbons: Women in the West series pays homage to these women who helped carve out the American West and along the way found love.
The series kicks off with Texas Tears. Set against the backdrop of the battle at the Alamo Mission just outside of Bexar County, Texas with U.S. Marshal Cole Derringer running up against Samantha McCord, the daughter of prominent Texan Seth McCord. It will take a battle and a long journery to hell and back before the two give in to temptation, allowing their hearts to run free, that is if Seth McCord gives the couple his blessing. After all, he holds Cole responsible for the harm that has come his daughter's way, including being kidnapped and taken across the Mexican border.
Partnering with the lawman the two head south to Mexico to rescue Sam, who had followed her heart and her man straight to the battlefield at the Alamo.
A territory fighting to remain indedpendent, two lovers fighting a battle within their hearts and while Texas might have lost the battle at the Alamo, the lawman is not about to follow suit. After all, the marhsal always gets his man, or in this case-- his woman.
